Full and Half-day Snowshoe Hikes

You will have the choice between a variety of options to explore the magnificent landscapes of the Haute-Romanche area surrounding La Grave. Come experience the unique architectural heritage, joyfully glide through the snow, follow animal footsteps, pretend to be a trapper, or simply spend a nice friendly moment together in the beautiful outdoors. HOW DIFFICULT WILL THE TRIP BE?

Beginner

You are new to this activity and can easily hike for a half day.

Intermediate

You are able to hike for 3 to 4 hours and with about 800m of gain and are able to descend for about 2 to 3 hours in the snow.

WHAT LEVEL OF PHYSICAL FITNESS DO I NEED?

Beginner

You are able to walk for several hours on a good trail and gain around 600 to 700m per day.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON EACH DAY?

Day 1

- Half-day 'Discovery' snowshoe hike - Hours: from 1pm to 4pm, for adults and kids from the age of 6 - Walking through fields and forests, we will discover nature, wildlife in winter and the activity of snowshoeing.

- Complete day : Discovering or training about transceiver - From 9am to 4pm
