The “la Pisse” Via Ferrata in La Grave, by the Voile de la Mariée waterfall

A superbe, long (250m) and athletic Via Ferrata that follows the Voile de la Mariée waterfall situated on the border to the commune of Isère in the heart of the Oisans region. Difficult, but not overly so, this vertical Via Ferrata will test your arm strength. No escape is possible, the only way out is to climb to the top under the watchful eye of La Meije and the Rateau. On hot days the Pisse waterfall also works as a natural vaporizer! Recommended for teenagers and adults. The descent is by the walking path of the GR route or by a steep, shorter path equipped with cables. There is a possibility to have a break at the Clôts hut on the way back. If you like the ambiance in this area, there are several long multipitch climbing routes to do on the same rock faces!
